There are so many things to do in Las Vegas, it's hard to know where to begin. The Strip is always a good starting point, but don't be afraid to venture away from it. We'll keep our Las Vegas area recommendations grouped on this page by geographic part of the city: North, South, East, West, and Mid-Strip. (If you go North to South, we have them in the order that you'll find them on the Strip.) We'll also give you some casinos in the area so you have a "marker" to help you get your bearings. Maps/Directions are there, also, to help you along.  If you need more information, jump over to our Questions page and post a query, or a comment. We appreciate it.

FREE Photos (various locations): - iSnap photo booths have begun popping up at several locations in Las Vegas. They have been confirmed at the Palms, and downtown at The D (First, at the end of the Long Bar) (Second, by the Sigma Derby machine). They are also at several other MGM properties such as MGM Grand (First, in front of the Rain Forest Cafe - right off the escalator, behind the stairs facing Centrifuge bar) (Second, at the entrance to the food court across from the Sugar Factory on the way to the pool),  New York-New York (First, by the entrance to Nine Fine Irishman) (Second by Il Fornaio Baker outside the Century Tower by the escalator) (Third at Coyote Ugly), Luxor (on the mezzanine level and the lobby) and Circus Circus. The Linq has one by the entrance to the Flamingo, underneath the folded leg of a pink flamingo (you'll know it when you see it-it's big) The new location for Harley-Davidson of Las Vegas has one in the main showroom (in the middle of the showroom). When you find the kiosk, pose and push the button.  If you don't like the photo, take another one, it doesn't cost you anything. If you like the photo, you can send it to your e-mail account, send it to a friend's e-mail (with a message), or post it to Facebook. The kiosks operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Also, Burger Bar at Mandalay Place has a photo booth that will take four photos of you (and friends) and e-mail them to you. It's on the left side of Burger Bar, between BB and Hussong's Cantina, you'll see the bar in the rear of the little hallway.

A Great First Visit Tour: First trip to Las Vegas and kind of overwhelmed by it all? THIS sounds like a great tour and is priced from $49.99/person (seasonally adjusted). The tour departs from Bally's Box Office Entrance Bus Ramp and only lasts around 3.5 hours (at night). You'll see many of the classic Las Vegas sights and stop at Fremont Street, the Mirage, the Fountains of Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign, The Golden Nugget. Your guide highlight the attractions and insider tips. Your guide will also show you the best vantage points to take memorable pictures. This would be a great chance to do many things it took some of us several trips to accomplish.

Al Fresco Dining - There are many places to enjoy dining outdoors in & around Las Vegas. A lack of insects and a great climate help make it a great way to eat and, in many places, people watch. The only caveat is to make sure you cover up during the hottest times of the year so you don't get a sunburn. Here's a list of places to eat, their location, and a link to their menu. Enjoy!

It' be easy to find with a giant Hershey's Milk Chocolate Bar and an 18-ft. Reese's Peanut Butter Cup towering over the entrance which will be shaped like Hershey's Kisses.
